Hunger is everywhere and it affects people we know.
Friends, colleagues, and neighbors quietly seek help from our approximately
600 member hunger-relief agencies such as food pantries, soup kitchens, and emergency shelters each and every day. Eating should not be a luxury, however, unfortunately, for more than 750,000 individuals throughout eastern Massachusetts,
it is. Hunger is unnecessary because there's
more than enough
food to feed everyone. The Food Bank is doing everything it can to help end hunger throughout our region. That's
why we recently built a new facility that will allow us to acquire, store, and distribute more food to those
in need. But we cannot end hunger alone.
Learn more about our new building and help us continue to help those in need. |
